Mid May Freeze?

I suppose there are advantages and disadvantages to container gardening...especially when Mother Nature decides to dip into the 30's in mid-May. On one hand, it's great that we can move everything inside the garage. On the other...we had to move everything inside the garage! It was probably less time-consuming (if not less back-breaking) than covering with burlap. Anyhow, the following picture is about 2/3 of the containers we have. With lots of other plants in the ground and a new perennial bed coming it seems there is no end in sight to gardening at the Horvath Homestead!
