Most importantly, the fence is done, and the people who did it did a great job--they banged it out in 4 days and it looks awesome. To be honest, I was a bit concerned that putting a fence around the yard part of our property would take away from some of the natural surroundings that make our house what it is...the woods, the rocks, yes--even the "cliffs". But the fence fits in nicely and most importantly, I won't be rescuing G3 from sliding down the mountainside, he won't be running away from me up the driveway, playdates will not be spent chasing the kids in circles around the house (notice a theme here?) And although Mickey doesn't "need" a fence, it is nice to know I can contain him. And future dogs who may not be as well-behaved. Anyhow...check out the pix!
Gates entering the backyard, one small and one large for the truck to fit through.
Back side of the yard, fence is built into the rocks. Take note of nearly finished garden. It looks so small on camera. Trust me, ITS NOT.
End of yard
Finally, gates on the front of the house
