Running Man, Part II

Further proof that Gabe's newfound habit just might be sticking...

Although today is only the 3rd time Gabe's actually been seen running, we have gotten out for quite a few family walks over the course of the last week or so. With the temps soaring in the high 40's (and yesterday, the 60's!!) and the sky staying light until nearly 8, the conditions are just starting to ripen for daily walks. Around our house it's really more of a hike...just getting up the driveway is enough to get your heart pumping or pull a butt muscle. While there is some traffic its not too heavy, and the road is quiet pretty and woodsy (and hilly). With the exception of the occassional barking dog that runs after us and the sounds of interstate 80 in the background, it's peaceful. G3 also seems to enjoy these walks as he takes in the sights and sounds of his very first spring.

Should also be noted that Gabe's first real attempt at quitting smoking is going well. Nicorette is his new drug of choice and he came home from acupuncture today with two very tiny needles implanted in his ear lobes...apparently the site of the body that controls the urge to smoke? I'm starting to wonder if he's not part of some secretive science experiment. Stay tuned for updates.

i think i peed myself alittle. you should warn people before they see that.

Did gabe buy the bandanna before he started running, or was it just around the house?
